Car accident help

I was traverling down a deul carrage way towards a roundabout on the inside lane, at the roundabout in my lane was a car just pulling on to the roundabout, i was about 50 metrs from there doing aabout 25-30 mph and i glanced to see if buy the time i got there i would be clear to enter the roundabout, there were about seven cars quewed in the outside lane, when i was about 15 metres away from roundabout the second car in the outside lane pulled out into my lane (prob to gain a few precious seconds) i hit my brakes and tried to swerve intothe small gap she had left in her lane but had no time and hit the back of her. she seems to think this is my fault cas i hit the back of her and is implying she had changed lanes well befor i was ther. am i in the right beliving this is not my fault? I have very little money and although there wasnt much damage i drive a h reg rusty escort so will prob be written off. and i am worried as no one stop to be a wittness. can anyone help cas i am a young driver and have been driving six years and have never befor had an accident.

Your insurance company should and will deal with this on your behalf.
1) Ring them and report the accident if you haven't already done so. They will ask you what happened and if you have the other party's details.
2)They'll send you out a form with a place for you to sketch your positioning on the road before and after the accident.
3) Their accident investigators will look at the damage on both cars and other evidence and will then reach a decision as to whose fault it is.

Please do not panic. This is what you pay insurance premiums for. Insurance companies tell you NEVER to admit liability in the event of an accident, that's more than likely why the other party was trying to pass the buck.

Thanks for your help, just a bit worried about getting the blaim but as there were no witnesses cant prove it.
