Worried having used some Earmarked Capital

Hi,
After a very long struggle we were finally told that our 'earmarked' capital from the sale of our previous home would be disregarded by Income Support for 26 weeks as we were waiting for a housing association 'shared ownership' home to become available for us :j .

Now we are coming to the end of our 26 week period wherein the capital is disregarded, and we have just now been allocated a new bungalow  but don't have a moving-in date yet.

I have had to transfer a little of the money from our 'earmarked' capital over to our ordinary current account as I had some large bills to pay, and I will need to transfer more over to pay solicitors bills, etc soon. My question is this:
at the end of the 26 week period I have been told we wil be asked about our capital again, so will I be 'in trouble' for having used a little of the 'earmarked' capital? . I was actually hoping not to use any of it just yet but had to as I was struggling to manage some financial responsibilities.

Can anyone who works in this area of expertise please advise me, I am worried in case they ask for our previous Income Support payments to be repaid or something similar.

It really depends on what you have used the money for. If it is on essential outgoings, then you should not have a problem.

Great news about getting the bungalow x

I'm sure as dmg24 says that if you just used it for living on, there will not be a problem.

    Congratulations on the bungalow!
