Old Shares Going to Court

Hi,

I'm in a panic - please help!

I had some shares in Eastern Electricity years ago, and only recently found the Share Certificates.

With help from this Forum I contacted Equiniti who said the money (just over £1000) was unclaimed.

I went though a form-filling procedure, and sent them my Share Certificates.

i have just received a letter saying that, because there was a more than 12 year lapse, I have to contact the Court Funds office, as they will be paying the money to them.

What does this mean? Will I get any money at all?

Sorry for being panicky - but its the first time Court has been mentioned, and I dont have the Share cerificates anymore.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
karen
