Im new to this forum but id like some advice.
I took out a mortgage in 2006, the broker told us to lie about our wages so we could get this mortgage.
Upon competion of the mortgage the original company said they was transfering my mortgage to another company which was my current mortgage company at the time.
I was charged early redemption fees, admin fee's £190, and one called completion fee's of £795
I fell into arrears straight away, in the last couple of years ive been to court twice.
I now owe £2000 in arrears, im currently paying more under the court order to get these arrears paid off. Luckily i had to get a better paid job last year
Thing is my current mortgage company all they do is lie, one minute im upto date under the court order the next im 360 in arrears,
they got there solicitor to lie in court. Endless worries day and nite. Can i make a complaint against someone and who? Please help...

No-one condones that sort of advice. However, you were obviously were aware of it and agreed to do it making you complicit with the fraud.Upon competion of the mortgage the original company said they was transfering my mortgage to another company which was my current mortgage company at the time.

Who recommended that? What was the reasons given?I fell into arrears straight away, in the last couple of years ive been to court twice.
So, you entered into a major contract that you couldnt afford before you even started. What made you want to do that? Can i make a complaint against someone and who? Please help...
Everyone is telling lies. The mortgage broker, the lender, the solicitor and yourself. Father Christmas isnt real and there isnt an Easter bunny. The boggey man is out to get you...
Whilst all these lies are being told, including the lies you told, there is one fact that didnt change. The monthly payment you would be making. If you couldnt afford it why did you choose to get the mortgage? Why do you think you have a right to complain?
At the moment, the focus on complaints has been on brokers who lied on applications without their client knowing. They rightfully need dealing with. In your case, you knowingly lied to get the mortgage. So why should anyone else take responsibility for your lies?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. Succinctly gather your complaints together, look in a mirror and let rip....0

Any solicitor that knowingly lied in court would be in real trouble and if you beleive this to be tha case you could make a complaint against him to the law society, YOU would need absolute proof to make such a grave charge against someone. Are you saying that you dispute that you are up to date. I often find clients believe they are up to date with payments because they have made the monthly payment in the right month but they are in arrears because payment was due at the 1st of the month.
With regards to whether you were missold the mortgage you admit that you knew that the figures you included as income were incorrect so you could be deemed to have been a party to mortgage fraud.
You can of course complain to the mortgage company and the financial ombusdman if you believe you have been mis sold a mortgage but they will investigate all the facts including your part in obtaining money by deception
Make sure you think through the consequences and get independant legal advice before you do anything0 -

Just because you didnt need to prove them (self cert mortgage) doesnt mean that you coudl just make them up. It doesnt matter why you lied only that you did0 -
am I the only one having a hard time reading/understanding this thread?0

He said a payment i had payed a few days before had bounced, but i used my debit card, the payment was fine. My next payment was due a few days later and the judge ordered that the payment should be paid. I rang the mortgage company up the same day, they said the solicitor had told them the first payment under the court order was in two months, totally different to the judges. I asked for this in the letter to be sent to me, i never got one, i paid on time. I beleive they was trying for me to default straight away under the court order.0 -
