Aww poor bluebells lol, I would love a lawn of bluebells.
I think digging out would be best, but you could try a weedkiller first, sorry not much help, just felt sorry for the bluebells lol.
Another idea, you could offer them on freecycle, I am sure someone would love to have them even if they had to come and dig them out themselves.
Good luck

You could try a lawn weed & feed mixture which will wash in when it rains. It targets anything with a broad leaf so it should work on Bluebells.
I tried to dig the one I found in my lawn up but didn't seem to get all the root so I agree with trying weed and feed or a weed killer.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

"Bluebells are protected through general provisions in the Wildlife and Countryside 1981 which make it illegal to intentionally uproot a wild plant. The same Act does not list bluebell amongst the plants receiving the highest level of protection but does makes it illegal to sell or offer bluebells for sale."
I thought they were protectedbut it ain't the Spanish ones or I would have suggested you uproot and replant in the wild. They aren't sure what effect the Spanish ones have on the native Bluebell but are considering removing them in the wild

Don't spanish bluebells have bulbs anyway? I'm sure thats what I've inherited in my border and they have.0
