New driving license

I have lost my driving license (physically lost it, not had it taken off me) and need to replace it. It was a paper one, I have never had a photocard. Does anyone know the cost to replace it at the moment? Do I have to pay for both a first photocard and a replacement, or just one? Thanks

i think its about £25 or at least it was when i lost mine a few years ago.

Thanks, but I don't have my current one in my possession. Shame cos it could have been cheaper by the looks of it!

to replace one, its £17.50, at least thats what i paid for mine a month ago, get the application forms from the post office xx

as you only had the paper one, youll get the photocard thru automatically with it, so be sure to get the photos sent off as well

If it's the same as a Passport, it reads I hereby certify that this is a true likeness of ( fill in name ).

Fairly sure of that.
