    Thanks for that, we just worked out using the link you gave, the car is only worth between £975 and £1375 if it were sold privately. Hopefully they wont want this then!:j

    Thanks Fermi, i have had a look and my wife does need the car for her employment, she is a community care assistant and has to travel to peoples houses accross our county to help care for disabled children, hopefully this will help to exempt the car.

    Thanks for everyones help, we really appreciate it, its god to know we are not alone.
    We are just now waiting for the letting agents to get back to us following all the checks that they do, i hope it goes through ok as we relly like the house we have seen.
    Heres hopeing:D
