We have a family living two doors away from us who have around 8 cats that are allowed to wander all day - no problem with them whatsoever. The concern I have is that they also have a pet rabbit which they let wander with the cats!!
It's a gorgeous little grey rabbit and when it was first seen hopping about on the road and pavements, some other neighbours in the street were obviously concerned and went to knock on their door and tell them that their rabbit had got out.
However, it turns out that they know the rabbit is left wander - (my other neighbour told me that several people in the street have knocked on their door now and the owners of the rabbit have said that they're aware of it being loose and they've chosen to let it be!
I'm really worried that it will be killed by a car sometime soon.

Well if it isnt killed by a car it will be killed by a dog, my dog once came across a stray rabbit and almost pulled my arm out of the socket trying to get to it. Poor little thing, it isnt fair. Our local animal rescue group deal with all sorts of pets, I would be tempted to ring them and say I had found a stray rabbit. It doesnt sound like the owners care about this poor bunny, if they've had lots of people knocking and telling them the rabbit is loose, surely they must realise the danger they're putting the rabbit in. Hope its allright.

I would send a quick email to the RSPCA, they will decide whether they need to do a quick visit and advise them how to keep the animal.0
