Benefit Check Up tool

Would just like to say thanks to Martin for the Benefit Check Up tool on this site. Used it for my dad, put in his income (he's 72 and on a pension), and it showed he could claim council tax benefit as well as the Lone occupant discount he already got.
Filled in all the forms for him (also enclosed a copy of the check up sheet) and his bill has reduced from £108 to £58 a month. Plus they are going to back date it to Feb 2007.
Would never have done it if not for this site, as he tried claiming about 6 years ago and was told he was not eligable !
