I will be coming to the end of my 2 fixed rate mortgage (Bank of ireland) at the end of this year.
At the time I took the mortgage i was a PAYE employee, now I am self employed on an apparently very small primary income.
Is it likely that if I took out another fixed rate mortgage with the BoI when the first expires, I would not have to go through the hoops of providing accounts etc and that they would take my past impeccable record with them as proof of credit worthiness ?
Would I also have to pay the usual arrangement fees, valuation fees etc?
Thanks

If you stay with BOI, then you should be able to do a product transfer with no hoops at all, usually just select the product, sign and away you go. They will not want the property revalued but there may be arrangement fees, depending on the product you choose and your needs. You may be able to add these to the loan but it is usually better to pay them as you don't pay interest on them that way.0 -
Thanks guys. Definitely something for me to think about and probably a lot less hassle than finding a new lender0
