If you're looking for a short term fixed rate in the 2/3 yrs range keep an eye on BIM (Bank of Ireland Mortgages) on Tuesday. They've got some great deals coming out especially in the easyswitch range.

I can't seem to see that rate on their website yet; is there a maximum LTV ratio (I'm about to re-mortgage and I think mine's probably just over 96%!)?0
-
Maximum LTV is 95% - but don't forget the HIgher Ledning Charge at that level also.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. There's no higher lending charge for loans below 85% LTV. As far as I'm aware it's not a brokers only deal so it should be on their website. I'm talking about Bank of Ireland in the UK not in Ireland in euros. Is that where you got those rate from?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Just my luck! If only I had waited another couple of weeks, my BOI mortgage I am currently taking out is 4.85% for 3 years. I phoned them to ask if I can have this new rate of 4.55% but they said it is too late as it has almost now gone through:mad:

Yes sorry ! Do you have a website addy?0 -
I think this is the UK site:
http://www.bim-online.com
Downloadable PDFs here
http://www.bim-online.com/customer/new_customer.asp
and here
http://www.bim-online.com/broker/products.asp
However, the 3.49% rate quoted earlier in the thread must be a typo?
[edit: Ah I see now. All the rates in that post above were for Ireland, not the UK!]0
