OK washer - I would say - plug something into the same socket to check that it is 'live' then check the washer fuse in the plug (by changing with another one). If both OK, I would say leave till morning, too late to messing about inside the washer

That was the first thing I tried!........

I tried a different socket I knew worked
Changed fuse
Gave it a kick
Turn it on off on off on off on off on off on off on off
Fiddled with the door just in case it wasn't closing properly
Took lid off and had a fiddle inside
Checked fuses, wires, door, LED etc
Just no power whatsoever!
I press on and nothing! The LED does not even go on
I think it may be something to do with the door though. I don't think it is registering that it is fully closed? I was tugging on arm mechanism which runs from door switch to door etc and was putting a lot of effort in to pulling it up slightly , I turned the washing machine back on at the wall and the LED started to flicker.... I thought it may have been some charge left in it that made it do that but it had been turned on and off a million times since!

It was almost 2am and I thought fork this! I'll see what Argos has to offer!

Current washing machine is a Candy so I am surprised its lasted as I have has it since I moved in here when I was 17 - i'm now 27

I am just gonna buy a new one! I can't be a$red to fuss about with the switch... waiting for parts.... fitting um then just to find its unrepairable! God I am sooooooo lazy!!!!
