Do you think their e-saver account is a good deal?

Also, I'm a little wary of their website, it comes up as askBM - is that correct?

Yes that is correct - they are part of the HBOS conglomerate.

There's a thread here about the BM e-saver.

IMHO Birm midshires are OK but their communications are well below par plus applying for an account via the web can be hit and miss! :)

I applied on-line and shortly after received a letter saying they didn't require and further ID and to send back a signed confirmation form and cheque to open the account.

6.5% looks like a good rate - depends on how long it lasts but should be able to transfer out easily.

If you look at the 4.36% Halifax has dipped it's websaver rates to, from today, it looks an extremely good rate!

I've got some fixed rate products with BM and opening them / communications has been first class.

Seems slightly more positive than negative - thanks for all your replies and opinions :)

I think its the same with all banks and institutions, some people win and others lose - I've heard some poor reports of banks I am with on here and I have found their service to be fine - so you take a chance I guess.
