free mcafee?

I'm sorry to be a pain but i know there was a post about 6 months free mcafee but i cant for the life of me find it, ive tried searching this forum and the freebie one and in general. Could nyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks :confused:

    i cant point you in the right direction of the post but i can give you advice on another anti-virus product which is AVG 7.5 or 8 free edition which i use. Zonealarm free edition which is a good firewall and spybot search and destroy which hunts out little spy bugs downloaded from the internet.

    I got McAfee free for life with my PC (including all updates), but thats one I got from eBay

    From firsthand experience I'd say that getting the free alternatives (AVG, Avast or Antivir) would be much better than getting McAfee for free.
