Well guys, I did it. When I tried to put my last post on the 3 stick wasn't having it. My final solution was to punch the laptop, which is now very broken. Off to PC World to spend money I can't spare trying to recover all my spreadsheets, bank claims and uni work from the hard drive. No more vino for me, Cobbles has locked the wine cellar and swallowed the key. Apologies to all if I said anything out of order last night - just very, very frustrated at the moment. Two more default notices today and skint 3 days after salary went in. May have let Cobbles go.

Only at work, and I'm excused that at the moment. Apparently PC world charge about £20 to take out the HD and pu everything on disk. There's six yrs worth of uni stuff and financial spreadsheets, but what upsets me most is that I acted as official photographer at a friend's wedding last week and all the treated pics were on there. Possibly the dumbest thing I've done in a long time.

Nightmare. I was really lucky when my laptop crashed totally. My BIL works in IT services at the local council and he was able to rescue most stuff for me. I now try to make sure I back important stuff up.

Notice the use of the word 'try.' I'm not as obsessive about it as I should be.

Well I just got back fro PC World - £99.99 to see if they can get my docs back. So those two 79p bottles of wine cost me £50.79 each in the end. Also just had to splash out on a printer cos the old one's given up. Not all hopeless - I sold some concert photos on eBay, so a new printer is an investment as long as I sell more. :p
