I used to have my very own GTG. It cracked me up whenever he laughed silently on Going Live.

m&sgal what did you think of dr who? theycan't replace him.

    Hi Kika,

I think you PMd me about this too? I tried to answer, then it got lost. :(

Anyway, I think, well I will type it in white to avoid potential spoilers, so highlight above if you want to read it.

I'm not sure what to think to be honest, as ages ago Catherine Tate implied this would be his last series, but as far as I know he's doing 3 specials next year. (We're not having a new series next year, only a series of about 3 or 4 specials spread throughout the year, the reason I believe is to accommodate David's other commitments). As far as I've read he's been seen filming the specials, but this could be a red herring just to put us all off, and if it is it'll be a bloody amazing bit of secret keeping!

In terms of what could happen, there are various threads bounding about the net atm, the most popular seems to be that a spark from the regeneration will hit the hand in the jar we always see bubbling away (the one he lost in the Christmas Invasion sword-fighting the Sycorax and then he grew another one back, then Torchwood found it, and eventually the Dr got it back). So anyway, the theory goes a spark will hit the hand and we'll get 2 doctors, which would be pretty cool, only one would be the proper one though obviously. So the 'new' version could go back to the paralell universe with Rose and live happily ever after.

The other theory going round is that the regeneration will fail, and he'll heal but not turn into a new Dr.

Also there's a lot fo stuff going on about Dalek Caan (the mad one)'s words: "everlasting death for the Dr's most faithful companion", and we know that someone will die (Russell T Davies said ages ago), so it's all very scary. Lots of theories going round Donna is a Time Lady too. All very good, and I CAN'T WAIT until tomorrow to watch it! It's also 65 mins long, woo!

Sorry for the length of that hehe.

And I also don't want David Tennant to go, I only got into DW since they bought it back (am a little too young for the classic series), and Chris Eccleston was my first Dr, but I love David Tennant the most. I just think he brings so much quiurkiness to the part. :D

I should be asleep. Did a night shift last night. But the phone has never stopped and next door is having some building work done. I have the sound of drills and hammers ringing through my bedroom wall. Working tonight as well. I could spit feathers right now x x x x

  • Hey smashed, I'm ok. Putting off going out to library and ink cartridge shopping as it's chucking it down, but library shuts soon, so I'll be getting soggy!

Aww poor smashed. Is there any way you can use ear plugs or something? And even if you lie down for a while and don't go to sleep, you might feel a bit better? x
