Yes I'd heard that too. Maybe I will apply this time round (or maybe not;) )Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160 -
My very best friend had breast cancer, she died aged 34 and left a daughter (my goddaughter) aged 4. The little girl is 10 now. I still miss my friend, she was great.KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0

You certainly can do a half moon, I always look jealously at the half mooners peeling off to go home just as it gets really cold. Although I do gloat slightly at the fact they will have to sit around for two or three hours because there is not much transport to get them home (except the joys of the night bus).£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hugs to you, when I found out my best friend had b/c I was devastated. Thankfully they have caught it very early and all the signs are good for her to recover.
Just found out too that DH's step-grandad has bone cancer. He looks so frail and haggard yet he has been told he can be treated with radiotherapy. He's going into hospital soon to have the treatment and if I'm honest I think he will spend the rest of his days there.Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160 -

My friend found the lump on new year's day and died 18 months later. The funny thing was, none of us expected her to die, I certainly didn't. It was just such a shame as she had had such a sh*t life and a sh*t husband, and he's still alive and she isn't.
Aah well, it's a good job I'm not bitter..................................KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0
