need to find 200 pounds to cover the short fall. huff. that would be caused by all the shopping i have been doing lately.

    arghhhh.

It was in the good old days when they paid decent amounts for surveys!!!

Nightmare! I get unwanted calls (they show up on my call display), I get constant international calls (but no-one ever speaks), withheld calls (unfortunately someone speaks - classic dirty phone calls), I don't answer either of them anymore! But usually they are during the day.

I am seriously considering contacting Virgin Media and requesting that they change my number, although they advised me the next number change I would be charged £35.00!!!!
What gets me is that Virgin Media appear to re use second hand numbers within the space of a few months, even weeks after the last person discards the number.
I have been advised to contact Information Commissioner's Office and ask them to launch an investigation along side OfCom and possible law enforcement.
I have had to divert all calls to my mobile as sometimes they ring at 12am!!!!!!
    These people need shuting down!

  • in other news I have worked out that if I move my money from emergency account and cash in my green met money I should have enough to pay off the egg card. got to move all that round tomorrow.

trouble is harry is going to need the vets soon and Tabitha looks as if her teeth have grown again so more vets fees. no doubt on the credit card. that's what the emergency fund was for. need to do a ring round tomorrow of tescos barclay card and virgin and see what is going on there.

I NEED to put these bloody cards in the freezer.

sorry night owls this should probably be in my my diary!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I know, but sadly the reason I went with Virgin Media is because the BT line has break from the house to the exchange and they have quoted £240 to replace the line wire from here to the exchange.
I have to admit though, The first year, maybe two I was with Virgin Media the service was great, I mean really great, but since my contract ended the service has been rubbish, there charges keep going up, up and up!
Im paying £80 a month just for TV, Phone and internet, last year I was paying £48 for the same stuff.
They put their prices up every 4 - 5 months and they never give there existing customers good deals, like free wireless modem, only new customers.
There will come a point where when the cost increases to much I will have to start looking at either BT or another provider.

I have been registered with TPS for last 5 months, contacted them last week, cant do anything as it isnt a sales/marketing call but a collection call advised to report it to ICO and OfCom and they will start a investigation but the calls even happen on a Sunday, this evening for example, 10pm, funny time and day for a collection department to operate if you ask me:confused:
