night all, sure the cast removal will be fine snaggles, is she old enough to be bribed/treated with the biccies your eyeing up as a reward for being brave, then you have a reason not to eat them as well as the distraction of being on here

Snaggles - cast doesn't hurt being taken off but the saw and the big sheeres is a terifying site. Also depending on the type and break and where it is they sometimes need to remove a caste on a still broken bone.

FAll over drunk at the weekend they will give you a temp caste then have to go in during the week to get that removed and ankle reset in a new cast, that gives much screaming.

sorry i'm quiet, toddler cutting molars

  • evening all.
Hi snaggs, i am sure she will be fine. I have had a cast removed, and it doesn't hurt a bit. It is more the sound that puts everyone off.
Missed you all while i was away, had a great time visiting eldest daughter in Cornwall, And have been sleeping quite well lately. Must be all the good vibes from you great folk.x

Phew, thanks - yes, I think I will probably be more terrified than she is!

I have so far managed to resist the lure of the biscuit box and have just had some nice healthy cereals instead. :T

Good idea Wendy, I will take a biscuit with me tomorrow, to cheer her up if she gets a bit freaked out.

LP, ouch, your poor little one, teething is horrible. How's the bump coming along? Natasha did have a temporary cast the first night, and then we had to go back for a proper one putting on the next day......she wasn't impressed with that!
