ah coool wendy your so lucky
i was VERY mse and got second hand ones from ebay
they said they were excellent condition
so when they arrived i was sooo peeevd
they had bits in the switch and scuffs
and they said the cord was 2m when its not its only 1.8m which makes all the diff as my mirror is just out of that!
im waiting for them to reply to the message i sent them telling much the same as i have here...still waiting!
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p
  • I was really hoping they would arrive today as the ones ive got are just poo and when i had my hair cut the other day she did it in a way that i now hAVE to straighten it as otherwise im a pasty white chick with a HUGE afro and that just looks wrong

good luck gettin the ebay thing sorted, im a bit funny about buying electricals second hand.

    Evening

Just got in from work, and now I'm frantically trying not to eat biscuits because it's weigh-in day tomorrow!

Going to try to go to bed soon because I've got to take my daughter to have the cast taken off her leg tomorrow - hope it doesn't terrify her too much, but when she went to have it put on I could hear a lot of screaming coming from the removal room.

Does it hurt having a cast removed? :o

Hello all - no toast tonight sorry Ive ran out of bread feeding all you gannets!

Snaggles - Ive had both arms and legs in plaster - some more than once (but not all at the same time!) and can honestly say it doesnt hurt - the relief is immense although everything looks pale and withered underneath! However, a baby may be a different matter entirely - it wont hurt her but she will probably scream anyway! x x

    How is everyone tonight x

  • i have quite thick hair and nothing else works quickly, i rememeber a hairdresser using them last time i got it cut and it took like 5 mins (if that) and looke great. To get my current ones to work i have to tip my head upside down and do sections that way, for some reason when i try and do it with my head the right way up it just goes all wrong, GHDs come with instruction dvd which will be watched repeatedly. Think ill have to get OH to watch as well so he can do it when my arms get tired (well that will be my excuse anyway)
