Just me. Please dont feel like you do about your worries. I have lived so long with my parents who were like that. It almost destroyed them. Dont let it all get to you like that. truth and honesty with friends ia always the best way. And if they dont understand then they are not true friends. And you will be amazed when you start talking about things like that they will more than likely give a huge sigh of relief and and tell you they were worried about the same things as you. And they are in the same situation. I bet most of them are you know. I know a lot of penny millionnaires. The houses and the cars are lovely. But my god how stressed are they at trying to hide there problems. Be happy hun instead. x x x x

Its so hard atm with all the stuff going on with my parents and DH and a few weeks before I joined MSE I was feeling lower than low, worse than I've ever felt before - I didn't even know the extent of the money problems it was just over the familiy stuff. I totally agree with everything DH says about my parents but they are my parents and my girls' grandparents and I can't just cut them out of my/their lives. Yet my mum pressures me all the time about when she's going to see the girls when she didn't see that much of them before the trouble.

Sweetheart, no one would ask you to cut off your parents. Or should not anyway. Have you actually sat down with them and explaines the situation to them x x x
