HELP want a different pram/buggy

hi,

i currently have a graco mosaic buggy for my 8 week old. was thinking about buying a second hand mamas and papas pliko pramette so that he could face me. Having looked around i think that this model only faces mum whilst baby is very little and as my baby is already around 13lbs i don't think i would get use out of it - is this right? Can anyone recommend a smallish pram/buggy which faces mum and which i could possibly get second hand as OH won't let me buy a brand new one.

I really thought i had bought the 'right' pram this time round but am really disappointed with it.
now mum of 4!!!

I have the Hauck Infinity, I brought it as a travel system, car set, proper carry cot/pram attachment and a pushchair seat. All of that plus a rain cover for the pushchair and changing bag were £270.

I had a big baby 9lbs 2.5ozs, and have found the system perfect. Its light easy to move on and off public transport. As the pushchair seat is totally seperate you can choose to have it facing you or away from you. My DS is now 10 and a half months and I wont be changing it any time soon.

I brought mine from Kiddicare in Peterbrough. they do have a web site and do just sell the infinity as a pushchair. If you call them you can get a better price then the website, I would expect you to pay about £120-£150 for the push chair new.

    Hope this helps xxxxxxxx

i have a loola, and i love the fact that it faces me!! what i would say though that as the seat doesnt lie completely flat, maybe your little one is a bit little (unless you splash out on the carrycot as well!) i know that when my little one was young, she never looked comfortable when lying down, but she loves it now!!!

the loola is a nice pushchair, and there is always a plentiful supply on ebay.

Dependant on price ranges, tae a look at the silver cross website. I have 2 silver cross pushchairs, one which can face me or face out which is huge, my 11 month old loves it, the other is just a stroller. I also have a quinny for the boot of my partners car as this is the only pushchair which will fit in there :o
