a few years ago my partner got a barclay card gold credit card, after about a year his income decreased alot through a new job thus making payment on his card difficult, he contacted the bank and asked for his monthly payments to be lowered for a period as he was struggling with payments, they refused to help and cancelled his card and his case was put to a collection agency of which he finishes his repayments in the next few months, as far i we can remember we got alot of charges for default of payment, which he asked for help with, above credit limit fees, caused by interest fees and late payment fees etc. could anyone inform me if we have a case to claim anything back, someone said we should but as its all been repaid through a collection agency we were not sure.
