Perodua Nippa - servicing
Options
Friend has a Perodua Nippa which has a daihatsu 3 cylinder engine. Plan to get the filters, oil and spark plugs from halfords. If i can't find the bits under perodua heading in their parts catalogue will the daihatsu bits fit? If so from which daihatsu modl is the engine from. Any idea on spark pug gap and type of engine oil to use? Thanks in advance to those who replied.
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems
Well at least i learn something on the way

Plugs should come pre-gapped if specified for the model.
Owners manual should specify oil type recommended, or the castrol website will recommend an oil, probably their own expensive one.0 -
try an independant for parts if you dont have a halfords trade card.
in halfords you will need to buy 4 plugs usually cost around £15 - £40
buy them individually at independant for a few quid each, take a sample plug with you, they will also be able to sort you out with an oil filter and oil for less than halfords im sure....work permit granted!0 -
yeah id avoid halfords really....its a struggle to get the right parts for a mega common car let alone one thats a bit differant0
