they seems to be running 2 antivirus , which is a bad thing

C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\Norton AntiVirus\SAVScan.exe

and

C:\Program Files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avgnt.exe

if Nortons is not being used then it needs to be removed , or Avira if that is not

if Nortons is removed then it will need replacing with a free firewall like Kerio or Comodo

Ive also heard that Nortons is a pain for removal and needs a removal kit, do you know something that may help for this that I can add to his email.
