is there a way to verify a refund on a debit card?

just a couple of questions about a refund on a debit card..

first question is when a refund is made to a debit card, is there a way of verifying it? is it instant, ie check online line banking etc.. or is there a delay of 24hours.. or can i check via streamline/bank?

also would i need to goto the store and collect the receipt of the refund, or if i did the refund over the phone, is there a way to verify that the money has been refunded?

whenever i have received a refund it has taken approx 3 days to show on my online banking

Same here. It can take up to three days to show back in your account.

Usually they have about 7 days to give a refund to your debit card, but most organisations do this within 3 days.

You'll probably see the refund in 3 to 4 days time.
