Furious with B&Q Crawley. Bought a Bosch pressure washer at the weekend and when I came to put it together noticed water in one of the outlets. I reckoned it had been used and took it back. They changed it without argument...
When I got the "new" one home, it turned out to have a couple of pints of water in the hose and was splattered with mud in all the places that would be hard to clean!
It's a 20-minute drive each way for me, so will be giving them a blasting tomorrow morning.

I bought a parasol at B&Q once, when I got home found it was broken. Looked like it had been used before as well.
Took it back to the cust service desk, explained it was broken and used. Got my money back. It was quite bulky, so I said 'where do you want me to leave it?'. Response - 'Could you put it back on the shelf?'
Unbelievable.
Ask to speak to the manager, and shove it up his rear.0 -
the bosch washer with some water in it may be from being tested . . . I have bought steam cleaners before that are tested before sale and the enclosed documents has said something to that effectBaby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0

Point taken on the first one, but I'm pretty sure it had been used. No question at all about the second one - it had been badly cleaned up after being very muddy.0

If I were you I would take an A board out with you and tie it around your body (like the guys who shouts 'the end is nigh') with the words "B&Q sell used stock" then I would hand out leaflets to small groups of families who are out purchasing plants, shower heads, gardening equipment etc.
I would also scream really really loudly at the manager when you push yourself to the front of the customer services line.
If that doesnt work then you can always do what that buddhist monk did in tiananmen square.
