Attracting "good" junk mail

Options
Martin loves the stuff and, to be honest, I don't much fancy my chances of being accepted for many ideal credit cards given my employment status so I'm hoping the answer drops through my letterbox.

Is there anything I can do to attract credit card junk mail?

How will junk mail help your chances of getting a credit card?

Watch out for good junk mail.

This is one of the few areas where junk mail can be positive. Very occasionally direct mail offers, targeted website offers or sign-up stalls in shopping centres offer better deals so keep your eyes open, but ensure you ask about any fees.

Enquiring as to how to get sent any direct mailings.

Barclaycard turned me down last year, but sent me a 'guaranteed' card application form recently...personally addressed.

The word 'guaranteed' was in large bold print, and they went to great pains to point out that I would be accepted if I returned the form.

However, with nearly £50K of (stoozing) 'debt' what kind of credit limit could I expect?...£200?

So, yes, you may get invited...even guaranteed...but the credit limit given could be next to useless!

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Actually, one of the benefits of the credit crunch is a reduction in the credit junk through the doors and falling out of magazines.

I've never had any junk like this in the past 5 years, but in the past 3 months I've had 3 letters from CC companies and my gf has had 4..... Think it's the electoral roll

I've been invited to present my case at a county court to pursue a car insurance claim....

Also, in my mis-spent youth I was offered "outside" by a rather strapping lad who looked like he had far less to lose than me when things got ugly. Apparently my mate had spilt his pint...kind of tricky as the pint in question was safely tucked by the pool table but then again my mate did then proceed to simply exist which was apparently cause for violence as well. I viewed these offerings as highly as the one I got from Citibank in February guaranteeing acceptance if I just signed their quick and easy form.

    The shredder loved it.
