Car Tax-----HELP
its just said on news 24 that car tax for "gazz guzzlers" reg after 2001 will rise a LOT have a 2002 landrover 90 [diesel]and already pay nearly £300. we have this car as we live in a rural area and have a muddy rutted lane down to our property. we are already spending a third of our income on the cars [ DH has a skoda and doesnt drive it down the lane] i bought the landy with some inheritance money as we need a reliable suitable vehicle to get to work with.
its not a chelsea tractor or a status thing we have the thing cos we need it. they are talking of tax of up to £950!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does anyone know anything more about this?
