Save the Livesey Children's museum
In Febraury of this year the Lib Dem controlled Southwark Council closed the popular Livesey Childrens museum. Their plan was to sell the building. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for those who believe the museum shoud be saved, Southwark Council does not own the building. It was a gift to the people of Southwark and the councillors tried to steal it from us and sell it. They should be ashamed of themselves. South London desperately needs quality provisions such as this, particularly for young people.
As the council can no longer legally sell the property, or extort an exorbitant rent from it, there may still be hope for the Livesey.

Thanks for this, Simon. I hadn't heard that the Livesey might be reprieved. I've signed the petition.
