Hi, I paid for my car tax on-line with the DVLA on Saturday 19 April.
Got my tax disc on Tuesday 22 April. Excellent, except the payment made with my natwest solo card, still hasn't been taken out of my account.
Does anyone know how long does it usually take the DVLA to take their cash? It's really winding me up now, coz i keep thinking i have more money in my account than i have.

You paid on the 19th?! Phone them and ask them whats taking so long. It shouldnt take 11 days to take money out. I've bought things online with a Solo card and it only ever took them about 3 business days.

Paid for mine on the 16th April and they took it out of my account on the 18th.0

It should go out within about 3 days.
Ring 0870 240 0010 and get them to check for you.

Spend the money on something else and tell DVLA to naff off.

01792 782341 don't use 0870 numbers unless you have to.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0
