sorry if i have posted in the wrong place but not sue where to post this!
hi i have a 3yr old and we are off to portugal next month. I am looking to buy one of those lead ( don't know what else to call them!!) type rein thingys, that you attach to you and your child so she doesnt wonder off at any time. she is far too old for the proper reins ( don't think she would 1) fit in them 2) wear them as they are for babies as she says!!)
i bought one of tose fabric type ones that you attach to yours and childs wrist but she kept puling it off as it was so short i had to practically drag her with it, and i couldn't use that arm for anything as she would have to hold her arm in the air!!bad design!
i have seen the ones that are like coiled rubber that you attach to wrist that seem to have give child a bit of freedom ( maybe about a meter away) but no idea where to buy them?
sorry to babble on but want to make sure i get the right type of thing! so basically need something to attach to her so she cant get seperated but at the same time i can use both hands ie at the airport, using purse etc , and that allows her to be able to move away slightly from me.
anyone with any suggestions greatly appreciated. thanx

have you thought about getting a battery run tag that beeps if she goes to far from you.
i brought 1 on ebay that you can set from 0 to 25 meters and it viberates as well as beeps. tomy do 1 that looks like a bear badge. Or there's these backpacks with leads attached which means she could even carry her own juice and make her feel really grown up

the bag things look really practical might have to make a trip to john lewis and maybe argos and get dd to try them all on and see if i can sell one to her! she likes bags but the handbag variety so might have my work cut out!0
