Thanks Mullyhol and Sallyjh. The starstories site is very good, ds loves songs so that is is real possibility.
The remote control car idea got me thinking and after a quick search I've found a remote control Thomas the Tank Engine Steam and Sound train. DS loves trains so I think this would be a big hit.

I didn't want to go down this route as I was planning on a large family so before each child was due the children and I sat down and planned a "Birthday Party" for the new baby. I came out of hospital on the same day, got home and then the children would help the baby by blowing the candles out. Easy sandwich tea and everyone's happy!0
