*sigh* Splash Plastic seem to have blocked my card.
On Tuesday some money went on to my card £744.09 and £304.03, I took out £20 and then jumped on a train to Birmingham. When I got to Brum I bought 3 things in shops and then my card stopped working.
Logged into my account and the card status shows as "Refer to Customer Services " so i called them only to be told that the department who is dealing with this closes at 1700 (it was 1623 when I rang) and I would probably not be contacted today.
I explained to the man that I was miles away from home with no money and I couldn't check into my hotel because my card was blocked. He apologised but said there was nothing he could do.
Thus I sent them an email explaining what had happened and asking for help.
As of now (1212 the next day) I have had no contact with them. I just called Customer Service again and spoke to a young lass who said that someone would contact me back within 48 hours... Again i told her that I was stranded away from home with no money, again an apology and now I am here.
I have just logged into my account and on the Cleared Transaction list it shows this
29/04/08
RE Customer Service
Fraudulent Bank Transfer GBP -994.93
Now I have a positive balance and no way to use my card. Can anyone offer any advice apart from crying?

Birmingham has many banks and branches.
Why did you not go into one to get money?0 -
Thanks for the address I have already sent them an email or four with no reply as yet.
Erm I didn't go into any banks to get money out because I don't have any in any banks? Short of finding a shotgun and then blagging the local Barclays then I fail to see how it would help...0 -
You were miles from home with no money - if it had happened to me I would be off to my bank to get some cash.0
