Has anyone used this online travel insurer? It is recommended in martins tips but there's no 'security' icon on the website. They are very cheap for annual policies for up to age 69.

I put your point directly to Netcoverdirect and here is the answer
The page on which a client inputs the biographical data - name, address, etc. - only transmits that data to the secure payment page which is fully encrypted. The payment data is collected after that on pages hosted by Worldpay http://www.worldpay.com

This company is owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland and the cartel of banks which own and run Mastercard. We don't even see the card details - unlike a call centre where you read them out to someone in god knows where.
