Can basin mixer taps be used on a bath?

Basically I have seen a Basin Mono Mixer Tap that I like but there is no matching Bath Filler tap.
I was wondering if I could use another Basin Mono Mixer Tap for use on the Bath?
Thanks, Mark

anything is possible but not recommended.
basin taps have a 15mm connection (usually) and bath taps have a 22mm connection. you need a larger pipe diameter to fill a bath quickly.
otherwise you will take all day to fill the bath.Get some gorm.0 -
If you have a combi boiler then I would say go for it, they take all day to fill anyway

Yes I have a combi boiler so it isn't that quick at filling.
If the pipe sizes are different then there will be an extra cost in altering the existing pipework.
Hmmm... Might have a look at some different taps then...
