Submitted a non-request letter during test case

Having completely forgotten to keep up-to-date with the test case, I was levied with a fine by NatWest in mid-April for going £1.30 over my agreed overdraft limit. In response, I wrote a letter to the bank manager asking that he exercise discretion here in light of my good account management for three years and the nature of the paid item which put me into my unauthorised overdraft (PlusNet taking a direct debit which they shouldn't have and which was refunded two days later in full).
I then remembered about the test case but this letter was submitted a week before the ruling. Should I still expect some sort of letter of acknowledgement from the bank? How had I ought to proceed from here on in - should I submit a template letter to the same bank asking for ALL my charges back as opposed to that single charge?

chances are you might get a "good will gesture" for that charge1 charge..(one month i rung my bank up and they refunded me £106 as a good will gesture and told me to be more carefull)
as for any other charges submit the tempalte letter you have NOTHING to loose. if your payed out on 1 claim you can still claim on other charges.0
