Aren't Krispy Creme's frightfully expensive for a bit of dough coated in sugar?

Wow - thanks for this, what a great post! I have an addiction to them, My best mate works for virgin and tends to be in NY a fgew times a month so I always have a supply! I love the cream ones but they are way too expensive from harrods so that is a great bargain.

Raeble - Have you ever tasted a Krispy Creme? Seriously, if they were £10 each i would still love them! Not very mse but worth every penny for the sheer pleasure they bring (I know i must get out more!)

  • We were at Bluewater yesterday and experienced our first Krispey Kremes. They are the best donought I've ever tasted. Wonderful
  • I agree, they're like heaven with a hole in the middle.

We're in Victoria so I might have to take a trip to Harrods at lunch!

    Louisa,

    Thanks for this.

Just looking at your spending targets - you'd be more accurate if you had your Grocery challenge target as £30 and your pin money target as £250.

    Sorry swattie I'm lost - I don't understand? Having a dull day :)

Recently opened outlet in Selfridges - Bull Ring Birmingham

On run up to opening they used to come out and hand out piles of free boxes of doughnuts - 12 in a box

Got to agree , best I've tasted- especially the free ones !

  • Just been to Harrods in my lunch break, there is a very thankful office of Media people here who want to say thanks for the tip!
  • Krispy Kreme are good, but still not as good as Dunkin' Donuts IMHO. It's a pity you can't get Dunkin Donuts over here - they are hard enough to find in the USA, but are baked, not fried - hence lighter. Boston Creme - yummy! Great find though.

They used to sell Dunkin' Donuts in my local petrol station. Y U M. I since moved house so not sure if they are still available.
I hear the cry of the silence around me.
