Best way of sealing unsealed, glazed doors?

I'm having a major house renovation done, and am ordering up about 12 doors. All the downstairs doors will be fully glazed, like this:

What's a simple way to 'seal' (as the instructions say) them? I'm completely scrammy-handed when it comes to painting edges and would end up covering a lot of the glass I think!
I want to leave them as natural as possible, so just a clear varnish or similar.
Thanks in advance

You've said it. Clear varnish. Ronseal do a good range of very easy to apply acrylic varnishes, that are hard wearing.

Churrs Woody - what's the best trick to a clean edge between glass and wood tho? I never have much luck with masking tape!IT Field Service Engineer, 20 years with screwdriver and hammer

We had some like that and each pane of glass was covered in plastic so that you could paint the wood and then peel back the plastic leaving a neat edge.0

Cheers! I'll pop over to BnQ and have a poke thru the plastic
