LLoyds TSB Mastercard Platinum Mastercard application query

Hi, sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find any information on the Lloyds website so I am hoping someone on here may be able to give me advise.

I applied for the Lloyds TSB Platinum Mastercard 8 days ago but was in a hurry when I was doing it as I had to be somewhere and I didn't pay much attention to the final page and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the procedure is with this card. I haven't received an e-mail or anything acknowledging that I have even applied and I am worried that in my haste I put the wrong e-mail address down as my previous experience with applications for a credit card (6 weeks ago I applied and was accepted for the Virgin credit card) have been a very quick response and I have had my new card within a week!!!
Does anybody know how long it takes with the Lloyds TSB. Should they have sent me an acknowledgement when I applied or do I just wait for a reply in the Post?

IME Lloyds are slow, very slow so just wait for the post 14 days.

Are you saying that not sending an e-mail acknowledgement is standard for them?

I think thats standard for most credit card companies....LOL

I know at the moment, Lloyds TSB are having problems with there system or so my Lloyds TSB finacial advisor says.

It took them over 2 weeks to send out my Platinum Card.
