combi boiler or electric shower

Id go for a combi boiler (instant hot water, no tanks in loft and no cylinder in airing cupboard).
electric showers are pants, personally id go for a thermostaic shower (mira are a good brand), if other people turn taps on in the house the water temp will stay the same.0 -
Bear in mind that Showers off Combi Boilers have limitations. If you are in the shower and someone else runs another tap (in the kitchen for example), there is a drop in pressure and you have a cold shoer until the other tap is turned off.
Thermostatic showers were invented because of this problem. If someone turns on a tap in the house (hot or cold) the pressuree will drop but most can control the temperature within 2 degrees of the set point.Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:0 -
Worcester CDi range seem to be the best these days.0
