combi boiler or electric shower

  • Id go for a combi boiler (instant hot water, no tanks in loft and no cylinder in airing cupboard).
electric showers are pants, personally id go for a thermostaic shower (mira are a good brand), if other people turn taps on in the house the water temp will stay the same.

Bear in mind that Showers off Combi Boilers have limitations. If you are in the shower and someone else runs another tap (in the kitchen for example), there is a drop in pressure and you have a cold shoer until the other tap is turned off.

Thermostatic showers were invented because of this problem. If someone turns on a tap in the house (hot or cold) the pressuree will drop but most can control the temperature within 2 degrees of the set point.
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:
