Thermostat on cylinder

Quick question I located one of these thermostats on the cyclinder and turned it to 60c

I always thought this was for the immersion heater !!!

Does this control gas boiler or immersion heater ?

It controls your boiler, through the zone valve/pump.
Set it @ 65.

thanks another quick question.

I have a pressured cyclinder system and the guage above the boiler says 0.3 bar.

Is this for C\H or H\W ? and should it not be higher then this ?.

It should be between 1 and 2 bar. You need to let more mains water into the system - there should be a connection pipe close to the boiler - until it gets to 2 bar.

It is measuring the pressure in the CH system (which is also the pressure in the heat exchanger for the HW system). The HW in the cylinder is either at mains pressure (if the cylinder is unvented) or lower (if the cylinder is fed from a header tank).
