balance transfers when on benefits

Options
Hi Im new to the site so this is my first ever thread (1st of many most probably!):j

Does anyone know if you can/ or has anyone been able to transfer balances to to an 0 % card offer whilst on benefits? I have recently had to leave my work due to a health problem and so will be on incapacity benefit (from 1st may).

Ive just had a look at a credit site and started filling in the form when I got to the income bit I got a bit thrown...is it even worth trying if Im now classed as unemloyed and also does yearly income include the benefit amounts? ie incapacity and housing allowance?
Have been lucky enough never to have been on benefits before now so am confused

Is anyone able to help please?

ps another question sorry - how do you get he little target statements at teh bottom of your comments and update them? eg ebay £10 day challenge etc?

the comments at the bottom is called signature. you can click on Usercp in the bar just below where it says "Welcome, username"

On my screen it has a light green background so i expect that is the same for all.

on the Usercp page you will see the control panel on the left where you have "Edit Signature". you can fill in the message/comments and this can be updated as and when you want.

    hope that helps

I applied for the Ulster Bank CC when I was on Incapacity to take advantage of their 0% BT offer. I was originally turned down but appealed and was successful.
