Private Parking Tickets - can they be enforced??

Conor could you please find us a case where a Private Parking Company has successfully won against a motorist in court?
Thanks :rolleyes:0 -
Conor is correct but its almost unheard of.0

No. They can still haul you through County Court and the judge can still find against you based more on contractual law than parking law.
Parking law completely irrelevant.
The supposed basis for the ticket is a CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT. For there to be an agreement, there must have been OFFER and ACCEPTANCE.
If you did not ACCEPT anything, then there is no AGREEMENT. Do take a look at the forums on forums.pepipoo.com for more help.
Even if such a company tries to take a motorist to court, they still have to win - which is very unlikely if there is a good defence presented.0
