Cheapest way to get to Murcia or Alicante?

Hi,
There's a group of 8 of us (students) going on holiday to Spain around July 19th for a week, and we need to get as cheap a flight as possible to either Murcia or Alicante (return please!!!)
We have no idea what the cheapest is, and the cheapest I have been able to find is £140 each return using Jet2.com .
We would be able to fly from nearly anywhere in Mainland UK, as we would simply drive there!
If there was a cheaper alternative to flying, then we would take that......we just want to get there as cheaply as possible! (But hitchiking etc is out of the question lol)
Any help is much appreciated!

Depends where you're coming from really there arent many internal flights to east midlands, as this is the closest place to mercia, however getting a coach or train would probably be cheaper.
Actually just re-read your post and realised you probably meant Murcia which is in spain as opposed to mercia which is in the midlands, i assume you're not a geography student??
Anyway both alicante and murcia are served by ryanair but again it depends where u live.
all the best
the bearLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Whoops, typo there lol.
Yeah I meant Murcia as in Spain
Well I live in Lincolnshire so nearest to me is Humberside but I doubt that serves anywhere decent so anywhere in the country would do, we would just drive there and get the flight!0 -
Have a look at the Skyscanner/Flightchecker tools at the top of this page.0

We fly to Murcia quite often, and we go from liverpool with ryanair.
the transfer between murcia and alicante is just over an hour.
there is no bus, or train there
i have a phone number of a reliable driver in spain should you need it.0
