Tried the credit card "tart" with a transfer but unsucessful this time. However HALIFAX sent me detais how to transfer with a reduced %rate.
Offered 4.95% +2%fee on bal transfer over remainder of the time to pay/settle bal. Now in a stable relationship with Halifax. From paying 14.6% I think I did well.
