I use opera 7 (tried 8 but didn't like it). With the tabs at the bottom (people tell me that doesn't make sense, but I think of them like the taskbar), the icons set to small with 'images and text below' and pop-ups turned off it is just about as perfect as can be.

I also like: searching with google by putting "g" and whatever I want to search in the address bar; the personal information setting which stores things like my name and lines of my address for easy entering; the zoom facility and middle button clicking (open in background - I open all the threads I want to read then flick between them closing them as I go).

Definitely Firefox, with Internet Explorer for when lazy web designers haven't ensured compatibility. I find the tabbed browsing incredibly useful - prevents a crowded taskbar, for one thing.

With regard to Opera, I dislike having to pay for removal of the ads - unless you were able to get their 10th anniversary free registration code!

Avant's OK, though I haven't used it much.

So all in all, it's Firefox for me.

now it doesnt work on Fire Fox, so is there a similar program that
wipes my FireFox tracks of web browsing.

Well, opera can wipe those for you just by clicking File > Delete Private Data...

    good old ccleaner
    http://www.ccleaner.com/

The great thing is that it has a white list for cookies you want to keep, so having mse on the list means that it cleans cookies from all browsers but leaves mse and other sites I specify on all browsers

(and you can run it by just right-clicking the recycle bin)

Just above my Avatar my name Mr Skint is in blue in IE you used to be able to click the user name and get, send private message, add to buddy list, but with FF no more, and whilst composing this message I couldn't use any of the Icons where you could.

Bold, Italic, Underlined, Insert Piccy, Hyperlink. etc etc, anyone know why.

Cheers Peeps I typed this tag.
