Rhodes - 2 Weeks Time - Bargins?!

Hi, im new to the forum so im hoping someone out there can help me!!

Im looking to go to rhodes on the 17th-20th Sep for 2 weeks for me and the girlfriend! However all the websites and quotes i have seen, they are all for the same apartments/hotels, and for the same price! A want a nice hotel - NON falaraki, v close to the beach - best prices around are about £270 - £300 - however i didnt want to pay any more than 250.

Any ideas or help would b very helpfull - iv spend days on this laptop searching and only finding the same old deals!!

I know that, in the internet age, this will sound 'very last century' but how about sitting down in front of the telly and scanning Teletext for an hour.

If you're quick you'll get the details/numbers down before the pages update and you never know, you might even get some 0800 numbers!

Just to add, aren't "teletext holidays" on the internet as well now?

Dont know that you will get a great hotel for that money. here's an example for you. I think there was a choice of 2 flights but they are both night flights.

I got a bargain last year - a little later though - via Direct Holidays

Yes stay clear of Falaraki - dreadful place but basically anywhere else on the island is fine
Hire a car for a few days - you can drive around the whole place in a day. J&D car hire did me a good deal and deliver to your hotel

Could you travel onthe 21st?

first choice have a 3+star AI holiday for £309 pp. Its the Hotel Doreta Beach in Tholos.

Might be well worth looking at.
