Hi all,
I'm a newbie to these boards.. found them after getting myself in a state and looking for info online! Long story, but my income was cut quite dramatically last year and I have been topping up my income with credit and burying my head in the sand.
My outgoings are more than my income. I spoke to the CCCS who have devised me a DMP which I am waiting for in the post- but I just wanted to ask other people on here with DMPs what I can expect to happen next? I know my credit rating will be completely wrecked going forward - which is fair enough to be honest. The lady at the CCCS told me I could still probably get a mortgage going forward if I went through a broker - has anyone got any experience of this? It wont be for a few years as can't afford it - but I'm thining long term. We have a mortgage at the mo which my OH HEAVILY subsidises so I can try to pay back as much as I can to my creditors.
Could I lose my house? And am I likely to get taken to court by my creditors or have bailiffs knocking on the door?
Sorry for all the questions - I just feel like a prize idiot for getting in such a mess and just want to know how bad this will get so I can get my head round it all!
Any advice or words or wisdom very gratefully received!
Thanks xx
