    Hi FTF
You sound like such a caring person. I agree with everyone else here that you should take the money - have you thought that maybe she wants you to have it because you don't do it for money? Might be my strange logic but if I had a relative caring for me who expected me to leave my pile (if I had one!!) to him/her, I'd always doubt their motives. She clearly knows you're doing it all out of love and concern, so take it, enjoy it and know you deserve it.

On another point, are you claiming all benefits your aunt is entitled to, i.e. Carer's Allowance etc? If not, you really should, as it will help with your additional expenses. Also, there's an exemption available from Council Tax for 'sever mental impairment' - horrible term - that your aunt might qualify for. Have a look on www.direct.gov.uk for entitlements etc.

Good luck and let us know what you decide to do!

It's usually the people who don't want it that deserve it the most!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
